Great to meet you!

Life is a lot. And if you're a woman who's juggling everything and barely finding time to catch your breath, I want you to know this space was built for you. Here, you get to pause, process, and just be without anyone rushing you or judging you. I show up honest, compassionate, and real, because that's the kind of support that actually helps.

My experience includes years of work with children, teens, and adults in schools, homes, and community-based settings, including foster care. I've seen firsthand how much life happens outside the therapy room, and I carry that perspective into every session. I also teach at the college level, mentoring the next generation of social workers while staying sharp on what works today.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is a team effort. I use approaches like DBT, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused work but I also know that what works has to work for you specifically. So we keep it honest and practical. We'll look at what's holding you back, shift what's not working, and put together strategies you can actually use in your day-to-day.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simple; come as you are. We're going to slow down together, and I'll give you space to share what's been going on, what brought you here, and what you're hoping to feel differently about. I'll also ask about different areas of your life, your stress, your support system, your routines, and your relationships because I want to understand the whole you, not just one piece.

By the time we wrap up, you can expect to feel heard, have a little more clarity on your goals, and leave with some direction. No pressure, no overwhelm, just a real conversation that's the first step toward building something that actually supports you.
