Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have experience working with individuals facing both mental health and substance use concerns, and I’m passionate about helping people feel supported as they move through life’s challenges. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, self-esteem concerns, suicidal thoughts, and general life stress that can leave them feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. My goal is to offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly, feel understood, and begin building a more fulfilling and balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you better understand yourself while building on the strength and resilience you already have. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Gestalt therapy, motivational interviewing, and creative tools such as art to support healing and growth. Depending on your needs, we may work on understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening your sense of self. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, and life transitions, and I tailor therapy to help you move toward meaningful change in a way that feels supportive and practical.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know one another and talking about what brought you to therapy. You will have space to share what has been weighing on you, whether that includes anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, self-esteem struggles, suicidal thoughts, or feeling overwhelmed by life. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the start. Together, we will begin identifying your goals, exploring what support you need most, and creating a path toward self-discovery, empowerment, and lasting change.
