Great to meet you!

I’m Veronica! A licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Florida and New York with more than 20 years of experience across mental health, addiction, forensic, residential, and community-based treatment settings. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in outpatient clinics, psychiatric centers, county jail systems, youth detention programs, residential treatment facilities, and telehealth services helping individuals and families navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges.

I work with clients struggling with anxiety, trauma, addiction, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, relationship issues, and co-occurring mental health concerns. My goal is to create a supportive, structured, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood while building healthier coping skills and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strength-based. I believe therapy should feel supportive while also helping clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life. I work closely with clients to help them better understand patterns, process difficult emotions, improve relationships, and move toward healthier ways of coping and responding to stress.

I use an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable therapeutic connection. Clients can expect a supportive and judgment-free conversation about what’s been going on, what challenges they’re facing, and what they hope to gain from therapy.

My goal is to help clients leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about moving forward. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and creating a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and manageable.
