Great to meet you!

If you’ve been functioning on the outside but don’t feel okay on the inside, therapy can be a place where you don’t have to translate yourself or carry that alone.

I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, LGBTQ+ concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy at a point where the coping strategies that once helped them get through—overthinking, staying busy, people-pleasing, or disconnecting—are no longer working the way they used to.

Often, there’s a deeper layer underneath: a self-relationship shaped by years of adapting, masking, or surviving in spaces that weren’t built for them. My goal is to help you build a different kind of relationship with yourself—one that allows for more authenticity, flexibility, and meaningful engagement in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in ACT, helping you build a different relationship with your thoughts and emotions so you can move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful. If you’ve been feeling stuck or exhausted, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to share what’s been going on and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. Vickie will take time to understand your concerns, background, and goals, while creating a space where you feel comfortable and supported.

Many clients begin therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Through a collaborative and insight-oriented approach, Vickie helps clients gain clarity, build coping strategies, and begin making meaningful changes.

She uses evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, and mindfulness to support both insight and practical growth.

By the end of your first session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
