Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor who is deeply committed to fostering positive change and empowerment in the lives of those I work with. I have over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and adults in both the school setting and private practice. Currently, I work with children (8+), teens, college students, and moms across the lifespan from perinatal to empty-nesters.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment, using my empathy and collaborative nature. I want to equip you with the tools you need to empower yourself and maintain positive changes in your life. I enjoy the work I do and find the therapeutic relationship to be a powerful component of this long-lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

I value creating a time designed to focus solely on the client; a time to process emotions and gain understanding of your emotions and behaviors; to learn coping skills; and to feel challenged, understood, and heard. You can expect to develop short-term and long-term goals with me, and have steps to work on those goals, including goals to work on when not in therapy. You also can expect to focus on self care, celebrate daily accomplishments, and to identify weekly progress.
