Great to meet you!

I want my clients to know that I see therapy as a real human relationship, not just a clinical process. You do not have to come in with the right words, a clear plan, or everything figured out. You can show up exactly as you are, and we can begin from there.

My style is warm, thoughtful, direct, and conversational. I listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and help you understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. At the same time, I want therapy to feel practical and useful, not distant or overly complicated.

I believe people often carry much more than others can see. My role is to help you feel understood while also gently challenging you to look at yourself with greater honesty, compassion, and courage. Together, we can work toward stronger relationships, clearer boundaries, greater self-trust, and a life that feels more connected to who you truly are.

You do not have to face everything alone. Therapy can become a place where you feel supported, understood, and able to move forward at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply individualized. I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, helping clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns may continue to influence the way they feel, think, and relate to others today.

I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and other practical approaches when they can help clients manage anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking, strengthen boundaries, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives.

I believe therapy should offer both insight and movement. Understanding yourself more deeply is important, but so is learning to respond differently, to trust yourself, and to make choices that feel more authentic. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful and sometimes challenging questions, and work with each client at a pace that feels supportive yet encourages growth.

Above all, I see therapy as a genuine human relationship. My goal is to create a space where clients can speak openly, feel understood, explore difficult emotions without judgment, and gradually develop greater self-awareness, confidence, agency, and emotional freedom.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, open conversation focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and beginning to identify what you hope to change. You do not need to arrive with everything organized or know exactly where to begin. We will start wherever you are.

I will ask questions about your current concerns, important relationships, life experiences, and the patterns you may already be noticing. At the same time, there is no pressure to share more than you feel ready to discuss. The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of who I am, how I work, and whether you feel comfortable talking with me.

My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, respected, and clearer about how we can move forward together. We may begin identifying the deeper issues beneath your immediate concerns, while also discussing practical ways to help you feel more grounded and supported in your daily life.

Most importantly, the first session is not an evaluation you need to pass. It is the beginning of a collaborative relationship where you can speak honestly, explore what has been difficult, and begin creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
