Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in community behavioral health across New York State. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo and have worked with a wide range of populations, including children, teens, adults, and families.

My clinical background includes supporting individuals facing substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, adjustment challenges, and more severe and persistent mental illnesses. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person is the expert on their own life, and my role is to support and guide the change they are already capable of creating. I approach therapy from a person‐centered perspective, focusing on your strengths, your lived experience, and the goals that matter most to you.

In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I see therapy as a collaborative process, you bring the insight and inner wisdom, and I help you navigate challenges, build new skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you’re hoping to work on, and what feels most important for you right now.

We’ll also explore the skills and strategies you’ve used in the past, what has helped, what hasn’t, and what you feel you might need moving forward. This conversation helps us build a shared understanding of your goals and sets the foundation for a collaborative, supportive therapeutic relationship.

My aim is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about how we can move forward together.
