Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults between the ages of 4 and 21. I have extensive experience helping individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), tic disorders and Tourette syndrome, anxiety-related disorders, and related challenges that impact school, relationships, and daily functioning. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each client's unique strengths and goals, creating a supportive environment where they can build confidence and develop practical skills for lasting change. Whether navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, tics, or life transitions, I strive to help clients and their families better understand these experiences and move toward meaningful, lasting improvement.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective therapy is built on a strong, collaborative relationship where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I use an assimilative integrative framework, drawing from evidence-based treatments and tailoring them to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. My areas of specialization include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for tic disorders and Tourette syndrome, and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) to help parents effectively support children with anxiety and OCD. I also integrate cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, and family-centered interventions to help clients develop practical skills, increase resilience, and achieve lasting improvements in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should provide clients with the understanding, tools, and confidence to become independent. My goal is to work myself out of a job by helping clients develop a deep understanding of their strengths, challenges, and the factors that maintain their symptoms so they can successfully manage future difficulties independently. I create a warm, collaborative, and supportive environment where clients feel both accepted and appropriately challenged to make meaningful changes. I use an assimilative integrative approach, thoughtfully combining evidence-based treatments to meet each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. By blending these approaches with cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, acceptance-and-commitment elements, and family-centered interventions, I help clients build lasting skills that promote independence, resilience, and long-term well-being.
