Great to meet you!

I am a graduate from The University of Connecticut school of Social Work and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I work with adults who are challenged by life stressors such as family, work, relationships and struggle with depressed and anxious symptoms. My approach is cognitive behavioral. Clients identify their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and are supported and guided to find healthier ways of thinking and behaving which in turn leads to more positive feelings. Clients identify strategies and coping skills to reduce symptoms and manage stressors as they process their concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach is cognitive behavioral. Clients are supported as they identify negative thoughts and behaviors and work towards healthier thoughts and behaviors. This in turn will allow for increased positive feelings.

What you can expect from me

In the first session questions are asked to help me to get to know you. Your questions are encouraged and answered as well.
