I am a warm, empathetic Black queer psychiatrist who meets people where they are. I have advanced training in working with children and adolescents and expertise in working with LGBTQIA2S+ people and with folks with other marginalized identities.
I use a holistic approach that involves therapy and/or medication if necessary. My approach is collaborative and specific to each person's individual needs.
My goal is to help patients reach their goals. Often that is to lighten the burden of depression, relieve anxiety, or improve focus and concentration on school or work. Additionally, I help patients increase their insight into how their mind works.
