Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am dedicated to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based mental health care. I specialize in treating individuals living with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders through a seamless blend of psychotherapy and comprehensive medication management.

I earned my master’s degree with honors from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. I bring 11 years of evidence-based clinical experience, including 8 years with the California Department of Corrections and 5 years in inpatient SUD care as an RN. For the past 3 years as a practitioner, I have specialized in virtually treating psychiatric crises, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, dual-diagnosis, and depression.

In my practice, I combine integrative and holistic modalities to deliver transparent, patient-centered care. I am deeply committed to honoring each client's unique identity, values, and cultural beliefs, partnering with you to advocate for your well-being and support your journey toward lasting recovery.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in compassion, transparency, and respect. My greatest strength lies in delivering multimodal, integrative, and evidence-based care that treats the whole person, not just a diagnosis. By seamlessly blending medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic interventions, I create highly personalized treatment plans that foster true recovery for individuals facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

Grounded in compassion, transparency, and deep respect, my approach ensures that every client feels safe, valued, and heard. I am an unwavering advocate for my patients' rights and overall well-being, committed to delivering equitable, trustworthy care that honors each individual's unique identity, values, and beliefs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a thorough, collaborative, and patient-centered evaluation designed to understand your unique needs. We will discuss the current symptoms or challenges that prompted your visit and complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment—exploring your medical history, lifestyle, and background to support a truly holistic approach to your care.

As part of my commitment to multimodal, evidence-based treatment, we will review any past or current medications to ensure safe, informed decisions moving forward. Together, we will establish clear goals and build a personalized treatment plan that may integrate medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic interventions tailored to your recovery.
