Great to meet you!

I specialize in treating trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and difficulties with emotion regulation. My goal is to provide more than symptom relief by helping individuals and families develop deeper understanding, build lifelong coping skills, and strengthen the support systems that promote lasting well-being.

My clinical training includes Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am also trained in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). In my work, I take a developmentally sensitive and neurobiologically informed approach, integrating principles of the Neurosequential Model to better understand how life experiences shape development, behavior, and emotional functioning. This framework allows me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs and promote healing in a way that supports long-term growth and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective therapy begins with taking the time to truly get to know you—understanding your experiences, perspective, strengths, and goals. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

As our therapeutic relationship grows and a strong foundation of trust is established, I will gently challenge you to explore new perspectives, confront barriers to growth, and work through the most difficult aspects of change. My role is to support, encourage, and guide you as you build the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic foundation. During this appointment, I will gather information about your background, current challenges, strengths, and support systems. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore any concerns you may have, and identify the changes you hope to achieve.

Together, we will develop a clear understanding of your goals and begin creating a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and priorities. The first session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share what is important to you, and determine whether my approach feels like a good fit for your journey.
