Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Wendy Pugh. I graduated with a master's in social work from The Ohio State University, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I enjoy working with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I specialize in treating LGBTQIA issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

I have a client-centered, skills-based approach to therapy. My style is based more in talk-therapy, but I also use workbooks and therapy worksheets when needed or helpful. I am open-minded and non-judgmental. I believe my job is to guide you on your path, not tell you how to live your life.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, you will learn skills to help you navigate life's challenges. You will receive support from me, but I will also challenge your thoughts and behaviors. At the end of each session, you will be assigned a task designed to help you put into practice what was learned in session.
