Great to meet you!

I work mainly with young adults and working professionals. I find that I do my best work, importantly, when the concerns are related to depression, grief and loss, anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, stress, and relationships. Because I tend to view things as a whole, I am generally curious about many other aspects of a person's functioning and will bring this up regularly to better understand the primary motivators in my clients' lives.

My approach to therapy

I think therapy is a space to figure out the possible reasons that we stay stuck and stationary in life. In my clinical experience, moreover, we tend to hold conflicting positions when we're stuck. My approach to therapy, then, is really about trying to work with people to raise insight and, possibly, resolve these discrepancies through either a change in perspective, better understanding what the client values, and/or increasing helpful behaviors.

What you can expect from me

You can expect an atmosphere of collaboration and exploration to better understand what's keeping the status quo going, firstly, and, if desired, how do we go about cultivating the meaningful change that you're looking for.
