Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. I’m passionate about helping teens and adults navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, and life transitions, and I focus on helping clients build healthy coping skills, confidence, and emotional balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and strengths-based techniques to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so we can begin creating a plan that fits your needs. My goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard and understood. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and together we’ll begin building a path toward growth and healing.
