Great to meet you!

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve been trying to hold it all together for a while. Maybe you’re exhausted from the cycle of substance use and recovery, or you’re struggling to feel secure in your relationships. Maybe you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community and tired of feeling misunderstood, even in spaces that are supposed to be safe. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know that change is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. I work with individuals and couples who are navigating substance use, relational challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. My work is trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming, with an emphasis on helping you reconnect to your values and sense of self. I also have extensive experience working in correctional and high-intensity settings, which gives me a deep respect for resilience and the courage it takes to rebuild. If you’ve ever thought, “I know I’m capable of more, I just don’t know how to get there,” therapy can be that next step. Let’s find your footing together.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, as well as any goals or hopes you have for the process. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a starting point for understanding your story. We’ll begin identifying themes in your experiences and how your emotions are showing up in your life. Most importantly, you can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin building a strong foundation for our work together.
