Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome to Headway!

This is Yu-Ning Lin (Angela), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I’m excellently bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese 中文國語. I graduated from UCSF and have practiced as a RN for more than a decade.

Growing up in an Eastern metropolitan city, I relocated to San Francisco, CA and Manhattan, NYC in my early adulthood to explore Western bicoastal cultures across diverse socioeconomic populations.

Currently I base in sunny Southern California and enjoy outdoor activities, such as walking along water and kayaking. I also love reading and visiting different types of art and museums.

My approach to therapy

I'm a strong believer of teamwork, including professional relationships between clients and health care providers. I’m also an empathetic listener who believes in fully understanding my client in order to customize effective strategies individually.

Let us learn and grow together, side by side on this wonderful journey. No one should be left alone when encounter challenges situations. I found my true passion to work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, difficulties with culture adjustment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our first session will start from knowing each other, understanding client’s needs and goals. We will also discuss treatment plan and share professional approaches. This is a collaborative effort in which communication and trust are essential.

I’m welcome to meet you soon and can’t wait to grow on this journey together.
