Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

I have a deep compassion for helping adults develop the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges and begin the journey toward healing. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their past and present experiences, build self-awareness, and find meaning in their relationships and life events. My therapeutic approach is personalized and collaborative—together, we will identify areas of distress, build effective coping strategies, and work toward healing. I bring particular expertise in working with addiction, not only focusing on the individual but also understanding its impact on family systems and communities. I have a doctorate in marriage and family therapy and have been practicing for 15 years.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, client-centered, and flexible. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership, where you're met with empathy, honesty, and non-judgment. I use evidence-based modalities, including trauma-informed care, CBT, and mindfulness techniques, but I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs and goals. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I aim to meet you where you are and support you in making sustainable progress. Therapy with me is a space to be heard, challenged gently, and supported as you build the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your background, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and share anything you feel will help in our work together. My goal is to create a comfortable and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe enough to be yourself. I approach our first meeting with warmth, patience, and an openness to meet you where you are.
