Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Gonzalez, a dual nationally certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in Family Medicine. I’ve been providing compassionate, evidence based care to individuals and families across Miami-Dade and Monroe County for over four years.

I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from South University in 2024. My clinical focus is on supporting individuals who are navigating mental health challenges from anxiety and depression to more complex psychiatric conditions with the goal of helping each person lead a healthier, more fulfilling life.

With experience in both psychiatry and primary care, I take a holistic, patient-centered approach that considers the full picture of your well-being. I offer services in both English and Spanish to ensure comfort and clarity for a wider range of patients in our diverse community.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe that each person’s mental health journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a background in Family Medicine, I take a holistic view of health considering not just mental and emotional well-being, but also how physical health, lifestyle, and environment play a role in your overall quality of life. I use evidence-based practices, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy, tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where your concerns are taken seriously, and your goals are prioritized. Each session is an opportunity to better understand your mental health, identify what’s getting in the way of your well-being, and develop practical strategies for lasting improvement.
