Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist. I completed my psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Health System, Manhattan, NY.

In addition, I have undergone training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute, and completed the psychodynamic fellowship program at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.

Currently, I work as the assistant medical director of the adult unit at Four Winds Hospital.

I am also an assistant professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where I teach medical students.

My approach to therapy

Every person has a unique story and deserves personalized treatment, tailored to their specific needs.

I provide comprehensive mental health care, which includes diagnostic evaluation, psychotherapy, and when needed, medication management.

I treat adults with a range of emotional challenges, such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and PTSD, sleep problems, addiction, and personality disorders.

What you can expect from me

I believe that creating a warm, empathic, nonjudgmental, and safe environment is the key to effective communication, which is vital for successful treatment.

My approach focuses on empowerment, understanding the meaning of life experiences, and building insight into symptoms. These are essential for changing patterns of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

When it comes to treatment planning, I believe in the importance of open, honest, and collaborative decision-making.
