Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (Mandarin & English) psychologist who works with adults, couples, and families. In my practice, I provide pro-bono (free) and sliding scale psychotherapy services for individuals and families who face financial or systemic barriers to care. This includes asylum-seekers, undocumented immigrants, and low-income individuals across the Central Valley and throughout California.

My approach to therapy

I am a self-reflective, curious, genuine yet direct psychologist who believes that therapy at its core is simply a relationship between two humans. I strive to be a real and genuine human first. To that end, I largely work psychodynamically, and am a firm believer that the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist can lead to meaningful and long-lasting change.

What you can expect from me

My clients typically tell me they regain a sense of hope after one session. I strive to build trust and safety initially and I want to hear your story! I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or like they are giving up their past to someone they don't know. I aim to create a space, allowing you to go at your pace as you are comfortable. Mostly, clients tell me they feel like they have chatted with a friend but realize growth in the conversation. To me, that's the way it should be.
