As a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2021, I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating in 2019. My focus lies in aiding women to navigate and conquer depression and anxiety. Through psychoeducation, empowerment techniques, and strategic problem-solving, I strive to guide individuals toward improved mental well-being.
As a decolonized therapist, I incorporate my knowledge of the systems of oppression and politics into therapy to help my clients better understand their lives and symptoms from a societal perspective. I believe that knowledge is power, and the more my clients know about themselves, their experiences, and the society we live in, the better equipped they will be to navigate through life.
Clients can expect to learn more about themselves, their mental health, and their history than they ever have after working with me. My clients will be equipped with the tools necessary to manage their mental health and cope with life's ups and downs.
