Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I am passionate about supporting teenagers and young adults who are seeking to work through trauma and move forward in their lives. My own experiences and being around others who have faced trauma inspired me to pursue this path, and I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming space for anyone who wants to begin their healing journey. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including veterans and members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish.

I strive to do what is best for your over all well-being. I have been working in the mental health field for 9 years with a focus on adolescents and young adults but take all clients of any age.

My approach to therapy

I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and making our sessions safe and comfortable. I believe in collaboration and open communication. My approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-focused. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, Structural Family Therapy, play therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe in tailoring my approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals, and I strive to foster a collaborative, supportive therapeutic relationship

What you can expect from me

Our first session will consist of getting to know each other and gathering history. We will discuss current needs and focus which can always be changed along the way. In our first session together, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we will get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I will take the time to understand your background, your goals, and any concerns you may have. My aim is to ensure you feel comfortable and empowered as we begin working together, and to set the foundation for meaningful progress in your healing journey.
