Great to meet you!

Navigating the ups and downs of life can be overwhelming, confusing and downright exhausting. Especially if going at it alone. If you’re here, there is most likely a part of you that is wanting more than just to survive life, but to genuinely enjoy the role you have in it. I am a Licensed Therapist who believes in the inherent ability of each person to connect with their authentic selves to live a more attuned and genuine life.

I have been working in the therapy field for the last 6 years, working with a variety of clients from various identities and backgrounds. My work often focuses on supporting individuals recovering from childhood trauma, navigating relationship and identity issues, dealing with anxiety and depression, sitting with self-critical or self-hating views of themselves, feeling disempowered within systems of oppression, and discovering (or rediscovering) the parts of themselves they have lost. I work with clients to help increase their awareness and understanding, develop and gain skills to make lasting change, and overall honor and become intentional with their emotional experience.

I’d be honored to take this journey alongside you.

My approach to therapy

There is no one way path towards healing and authenticity. The journey is nuanced and unique to everyone which is why I aim to work from an eclectic approach, often drawing from psychodynamic, narrative, somatic, gestalt, and systemic modalities. It is also crucial for me to focus through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and affirming lens as every individual walks in with an intersection of experiences and identities that just can’t be ignored. My collaborative approach focuses on establishing a foundation of trust and connection – a space where you can safely explore, identify, and address the complexities that may be getting in the way, and celebrate the wins that you are making. Together we can work to support you to move away from old narratives and unhealthy views of the self to living more authentically and fully.

What you can expect from me

That first session can often be the most terrifying, though I am here to help you feel supported and safe in the container that are our sessions. We aren’t just striving to understand and tend to past you who got you here, but to prepare in welcoming the future you who can truly exist in the life ahead. Again, I’d be honored to support you in that journey. Reach out for a consultation if and when you are ready – I look forward to connecting and getting to know you!
