Great to meet you!
Throughout my life, helping others heal has always been my passion. I started out at Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and went on to complete my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UTSA. During my internship, I worked with St. PJ's Foster Home and Children's Bereavement Center, which gave me valuable experience in working with those populations. Now with 5 years of experience as a counselor, I utilize play therapy, sandtray therapy, and behavioral techniques to assist children and adolescents of all ages to meet their and family members' goals. I offer parent coaching from an authoritative/Montessori framework. I have a background in treating trauma with TF-CBT and other creative outlets. While my specialty is working with minors, I also treat adults with backgrounds of trauma and/or anxious/depressive symptoms.
