Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with teens ages 15+, adults, and couples. Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years supporting children, teens, and families as a school counselor, which gave me a strong foundation in helping people navigate life changes, emotions, and relationships.

I support clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, communication, emotion regulation, and family or relationship challenges. I especially enjoy supporting parents through the challenges of caregiving, life transitions, and family dynamics. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood so we can work together toward meaningful growth and change. I offer both in-person sessions in Towson and telehealth appointments.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, direct, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. While I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. I work with clients to develop treatment that aligns with their goals, experiences, and strengths, integrating techniques from other evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, when appropriate.

I believe therapy works best when there is a strong sense of trust and connection. I focus on building rapport so that you feel safe being yourself, while also helping you develop practical tools to better understand and navigate your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Whether you are working through a difficult season or looking to make lasting changes, I strive to meet you where you are and support you in a way that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main focus is getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, any important background information, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. The first session is also a chance for us to start building connection, identify goals, and explore what kind of support would feel most helpful for you moving forward.
