Great to meet you!

I believe one of the most important parts of being a therapist is being human. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.

I work with young adults and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and other experiences that can leave people feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect. I bring clinical expertise and experience to our work while recognizing and emphasizing that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support, guide, and empower you as you move toward your goals.

I also believe healing involves both the mind and the body. Our experiences shape how we think and feel, as well as how we carry stress and emotions physically. In our work together, we may explore these connections and build tools to help you feel more grounded, present, and empowered.

I invest deeply in my clients and their healing. I believe growth happens through small meaningful steps rather than only major breakthroughs. Together we will notice progress, celebrate wins along the way, and focus on movement rather than perfection. I believe in your capacity to heal, grow, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma informed, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs and goals. I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and strengths based approaches to support healing and growth.

I believe healing is a process, not a single destination. We will explore how past experiences may be impacting your current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors while also identifying practical tools to support change in your daily life.

I place a strong emphasis on self determination and empowerment. Therapy is not about someone else having the answers for you. It is about helping you build insight, confidence, and trust in yourself so you can navigate life with more clarity and stability. My goal is for our work to support you well beyond the therapy space.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are currently struggling with, and what you hope to work toward.

You do not need to share everything right away. Especially when working with trauma or difficult life experiences, we will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

My style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I want the first session to feel like the beginning of a supportive partnership rather than an interview. By the end, we will begin identifying goals and outlining a direction for our work together that feels realistic and meaningful to you.
