Great to meet you!

Finding a therapist you genuinely connect with is just as important as finding one who understands your specific struggles. Over the past nine years, my practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has been dedicated to helping individual adults and adolescents take an active role in their own progress. Earning your trust and helping you establish a safe, empowering baseline for your care is an honor I hold deeply. Many clients come to me after searching for a therapist who truly understands OCD and anxiety—someone trained specifically in the evidence-based treatments that work, rather than just general talk therapy. I also provide support for individuals navigating self-esteem challenges, codependency, or the frustrating feeling of being stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whatever brings you into the room, I am here to help you get out of your own way, regain control, and get back to enjoying your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe that genuine emotional growth flourishes when we balance rigorous, evidence-based practices with a deeply authentic human connection. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, approachable, and down-to-earth. I am trained by the International OCD Foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention, which are the treatments with the strongest evidence base for OCD. If you want real results, you deserve to work with a specialist who understands the nuances of your condition. By integrating these modalities alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we will outline tangible goals to understand what is driving your anxiety. Together, we will build real, practical skills to manage your symptoms, ensuring that our work provides the guidance and feedback needed to help you not just cope, but truly thrive.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support takes immense courage, and my hope is that our initial meeting acts as a quiet refuge where you can safely step away from the heavy demands of daily stress. In our first session, I strive to cultivate a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment right from the start. We will gently explore your history, symptoms, and the ways your concerns are affecting your daily life at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to have all the answers. Because finding a therapist you actually connect with is essential, we will use this time to see if we are a good fit and discuss what treatment might look like for you. My priority is ensuring you feel completely heard and validated as we collaboratively design a clear roadmap tailored to your client-centered goals, so you leave with a clear next step forward. I also offer free phone consultations before we meet to help ensure you feel confident in your choice of care.
