Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with individuals and families who are navigating complex emotions and life transitions, including experiences of trauma, neurodivergence, and the ways these challenges can impact relationships and parenting. Many people I work with feel overwhelmed or emotionally worn down, often recognizing that past experiences are still shaping how they relate to themselves or others.

I have been honored to work in private practice for over 15 years. Earlier in my career, I worked with families in crisis who were involved in the child welfare and legal systems. This early work continues to inform my understanding of trauma, complex systems, and the realities of parenting under significant stress, and has shaped the steady, grounded approach I bring to therapy.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and a Master of Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. In my practice, I strive to offer a space that feels respectful, attuned, and emotionally safe—where meaningful change can unfold.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma‐informed, neurodivergence‐affirming, and collaborative. I view many emotional and behavioral patterns as understandable responses to experience, even when they are causing distress or difficulty. Therapy is a space to slow things down, build understanding of your internal experience, and develop greater choice, regulation, and self‐trust. When appropriate, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as part of treatment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect for me to create a safe, confidential space where we work together to tailor therapy to your needs.
