Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 25 years of clinical experience. I hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Health Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology.

I am licensed in multiple states and have worked with military members within the VA, Army, and Air Force. My clinical focus includes clinical health psychology, trauma-informed care, integrated primary care behavioral health, and psychological assessment across the lifespan.

I am trained in evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am deeply committed to whole-person wellness and helping people find their empowered selves.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy backcountry skiing, bow hunting, hot yoga, and connecting with spiritual aspects of the natural world.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from an interpersonal and internal family systems perspective, recognizing the impact of physical health, relationships, and multigenerational patterns. I provide care through a trauma-informed framework that prioritizes safety, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful space where your story is heard without judgment. My priority is to understand what brings you in, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope might change.

We will talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and the strengths and supports already present in your life. Because my approach is trauma-informed, I move at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. You are always in control of what and how much you choose to share.

I also take time to explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying goals together. If helpful, we may discuss how patterns in relationships, family systems, or past experiences are influencing current challenges. My intention is that you leave the first session feeling understood, clear about next steps, and hopeful about the work ahead.
