Great to meet you!

You may feel things deeply, sometimes more than feels manageable. You might have learned to live mostly in your head as a way of coping with the intensity of your own inner life. And yet, even with self-awareness and insight, certain patterns remain stuck. You may struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or a constant sense of internal pressure — or find yourself reacting more strongly than you'd like, shutting down, or avoiding what matters to you.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, but carry a quiet fear that their sensitivity or intensity is somehow too much. What they haven't yet found is a way to be with the fullness of their experience — not to manage it, but to move through it.

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist — a specialized credential reflecting advanced training in integrating movement and body awareness into psychotherapy. I know from my own lived experience what it feels like when the body stops being something to manage and becomes a source of direction and aliveness. That's the territory this work moves toward.

I am in-network with select insurances through Headway. If I'm not currently paneled with yours, out-of-network benefits may still make our work together more accessible than you'd expect — and I'm happy to provide documentation to support reimbursement through your plan.

My approach to therapy

I offer somatic and movement-based therapy for anxiety, stress, and trauma-related patterns, especially when insight alone hasn't led to lasting change.

Insight can bring understanding, but change often happens elsewhere. We work experientially, paying close attention to sensations, impulses, and movement patterns as they arise in real time — accessing parts of your experience that are often outside of awareness, where many of these patterns are held.

Movement is a core, non-performative part of the process — not performance, not choreography, but exploration and expression. It helps regulate and shift what words alone often cannot reach.

We work at a pace that feels manageable, always within a sense of safety.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space to begin understanding what you're experiencing and what you're hoping for. We'll talk about what's been feeling difficult and the patterns you've been noticing.

There is no expectation to move right away — we build toward it gradually, at a pace your nervous system can trust.

If this resonates, I'd be glad to connect.
