Great to meet you!

Hello! Therapy can be a meaningful path to support and empower you on your journey for the life you deserve and strive to create. As a clinical social worker for over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege to work with inspiring clients ranging in age from 12 to 75 with a wide variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, grief, and life transitions. Let your experiences guide you, but not limit you!

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, with a minor in Art Therapy, from Buffalo State University, and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Over the years, I have pursued additional training to stay current with evolving practices and to continue refining my skills. I have also served as a clinical supervisor for more than 15 years. My passion extends into speaking at state and national conferences on mental health topics and adventure-based therapy.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I take a collaborative approach to support you in achieving your personal and mental wellness goals. I draw from a range of methods—including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based, mindfulness principles, and adventure-based therapy techniques to create a space tailored to your unique needs and preferences. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can be appropriately challenged and grow within a nonjudgmental environment.

What you can expect from me

Currently, I am accepting clients for teletherapy sessions, available online or by phone. During our first session, we’ll focus on gathering relevant history and getting to know each other over the course of the hour. In the second session, we’ll work together to establish goals that will guide our work moving forward. Ongoing sessions typically last between 45 and 55 minutes.
