Great to meet you!

Life can be stressful, down right overwhelming at times. “Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.”-Helen Keller. During these times when things become too difficult to manage on our own, counseling can help with learning healthier ways to cope, expressing deep emotions in a safe environment, working on goals, and reaching your potential. My years of experience related to the field are focused on assisting clients with trauma processing, developing a sense of purpose, disordered eating, reducing anxiety, and improving self-esteem.

My approach to therapy

I use a person centered approach that includes providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, as well as meeting my clients where they currently are in their journey. In sessions, I incorporate trauma informed techniques such as mindfulness CBT, EMDR and somatic based therapy which can also help negate stress and anxiety, as well as depression.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect in their first session a non judgmental environment and going at the client's pace. During the initial session, together we will go over expectations and goals to work towards with therapy.
