I have my Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Education.I am dully licensed in both Clinical Addictions & Mental Health, with over 16 years experience.

I've learned what I do is a gift, and I would not be able to do what I love without clients allowing me the opportunity to travel as their co-pilot on their journey in the therapeutic path. I love seeing growth and being part of positive change for my clients. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had.

I believe that counseling is a joint effort between counselor and client. I wants therapy to be a safe place where you feel open to share and begin the challenging work towards healing.

My approach to counseling incorporates various strength based therapeutic techniques such as:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), -Solution Focused Therapy,

-Relapse Prevention and psycho-education for addicts and family.

-Motivational Interviewing, and

-Animal Assisted Therapy In Counseling (AATC).

Trust, respect, safety and *authenticity* seem to be the most vital components to any relationship, especially the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. My personal philosophies encourage my therapeutic approach of providing a warm and safe environment where you feel like you can be YOU! Creating an atmosphere of no judgment, and trust is of the utmost important to me.

We may laugh, we may cry, but we will leave feeling a little lighter (insert winky face).
