Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Ariel Corniel and I am a licensed therapist (LCSW) with 20 years of experience in various areas of mental health. My experience includes work in substance abuse treatment, hospice care, grief, and work with veterans. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families to help them address current stressors, navigate challenging life situations, and improve relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use Motivational Interviewing techniques, Solution Focused approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. No one approach is perfect for everyone, therefore I tend to use what is fitting for each situation. I do believe that we all possess various strengths and through therapy we can discover those strengths, sharpen them, and use them to improve our situations.

What you can expect from me

Sessions with me will provide you with different viewpoints and thought provoking suggestions. The idea is to constantly challenge your situation in order to arrive at the best potential outcome for you.
