Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashley Lambert, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management. With over 14 years in inpatient care and 10 years working with state agencies, including the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and the Office of Juvenile Affairs, I bring deep, hands-on experience in supporting individuals and families through life’s toughest challenges.

I specialize in mental health assessments and have served as a clinical director and a therapeutic options trainer, with a strong background in wraparound services, coaching, and training. As someone who grew up in the foster care system, I offer a deeply non-judgmental, flexible, and compassionate approach, always mindful of each person’s unique journey.

I'm also a proud mother of a teenager, and I believe counseling is not just my career... it’s my purpose. I’m here to provide a safe, encouraging space for healing, growth, and hope.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I draw from several evidence-based approaches to meet clients where they are and help them move forward with confidence and clarity. I use Motivational Interviewing to support individuals in exploring their own reasons for change without pressure or judgment. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and patterns that may be holding them back.

When working with families, I use principles from Functional Family Therapy to improve communication, rebuild trust, and create stronger, healthier connections at home. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and always centered on each client’s goals and values.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, my hope is that you walk away feeling seen, heard, and supported. Whether we're working through past pain, exploring new goals, or simply making space for your thoughts and feelings, you can expect a judgment free environment where your voice matters. My role is to help you build tools that feel natural and empowering so you can better navigate life, relationships, and your own emotional world.

Clients often leave sessions with greater clarity, renewed confidence, and practical strategies they can use in real time. Most importantly, you’ll know you’re not doing it alone.
