Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, or a major life transition, I provide a supportive space to better understand the patterns shaping your life and develop practical tools for lasting change.

My approach integrates humanistic, existential, attachment-based, CBT, ACT, and DBT principles to help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more authentically. I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptoms—it's about fostering self-understanding, healing, and creating a life that feels meaningful.

While much of my practice focuses on individuals, I also work with couples seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. As a Doctor of Clinical Social Work and author, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine curiosity to each person's unique story.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that helps you understand yourself more deeply while creating meaningful, lasting change. My approach integrates humanistic, existential, attachment-based, CBT, ACT, and DBT principles to explore the patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Together we'll build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and work toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned with your values. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, challenged, and empowered to grow.

What you can expect from me

You can expect honesty, structure, and real conversation. Therapy is emotional work — and that means there may be humor, tears, and moments of clarity all in the same session. I create a space where emotions are allowed, but not chaotic.

In our first meeting, we’ll clarify what’s happening beneath the surface and identify the patterns contributing to your current challenges. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer direct feedback, and help you begin organizing a path forward. We won’t avoid difficult topics but we’ll move through them at a pace that feels steady and manageable.

By the end of the session, you’ll have greater clarity about what’s actually driving the problem and a clear direction for next steps.
