Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Brianna Heppler; an autistic, non-binary person, cat parent of two, and excited to start helping people become their authentic self.

I graduated from Capella University with a BS of psychology, and a minor in family development. I received my MS of Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University as well. My licenses and certifications include: South Dakota Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Colorado Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate; LGBTQ+ Affirmative CBT.

My approach to therapy

Most of my work focuses on improving communication, identity exploration and life transitions. I have training in sex therapy, Neurodivergent affirming therapy, polyamory and LGBTQ+ identities.

My passion lies with empowering individuals, couples and families to live the lives they want, build deeper connections, and develop a greater understanding of themselves and their loved ones. I enjoy working collaboratively with the people I serve to create goals that are best suited for their life. I deeply enjoy working with couples, individuals and families with teenagers.

What you can expect from me

I believe the first session is about making sure that I am a good fit for you, and that you are a good fit for me. I share a little about myself, and gather a lot of information about you. The first tool of therapy is the relationship, so I start with building a strong foundation.
