Great to meet you!

NY-licensed psychiatrist providing primarily telehealth care, occasionally joined by one of two small black cats who are my "assistants". I specialize in working with grad students, professionals and creative people managing burnout, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and focus issues, but also anyone who has a sense of humor, loves animals, and who wants to know more about why they do what they do and how to change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and individualized—combining psychotherapy with thoughtful medication management when appropriate, with an emphasis on clarity and real-world results.

I am unable to accommodate people with substance use disorders, frequent crises, acute suicidal or homicidal ideation with a plan. I also do not prescribe benzodiazepines, opioids or marijuana-based treatments.

What you can expect from me

We’ll take time to understand the full story—what’s been happening, what you’ve tried, what’s worked (even a little), and what you want your life to feel like instead. We’ll clarify priorities, discuss a possible diagnosis, and leave with a practical plan that incorporates both psychotherapy and medication management when appropriate.
