Great to meet you!

I hold a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. I worked in the child welfare system for 24 years before transforming into a therapist. I enjoy empowering people who need help finding their own center and purpose in life and who need to feel the love for the person within. I like to work with and age group in these endeavors as long as you are ready to work, I am!

My approach to therapy

I am very experiential in my approach to therapy and I use many theories of practice such as CBT, DBT, and attachment theory. I like to "fit" the therapy to the needs of the client. I very much enjoy using mindfulness techniques, role play and guided imagery in sessions to help clients learn that therapy is not just all talk. Homework will be assigned!

What you can expect from me
