Great to meet you!

I’ve lived in Oregon over 20 years and have been blessed to raise my family surrounded by natural beauty. I attended graduate school at Portland State University School of Social Work where I graduated with a Master of Social Work degree. I’ve previously specialized in providing services to individuals and families who have survived family violence, abuse and sexual violence. My main practice involves serving individuals in my rural Oregon community who may be experiencing crisis. While this work is exciting and always different, I also enjoy providing clinical therapy with a variety of clients. I believe therapy should be a collaborative partnership focused on the unique goals of each client. My hope is to provide clients with the tools they need to improve daily functioning, and return to a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I use a mixture of modalities that include cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, acceptance commitment therapy, and somatic therapy. As a licensed clinical social worker, my approach is always client led, supporting each individual to identify the unique issues, symptoms or challenges that are most disruptive to their daily lives. I believe my clients are the experts in their own lived experience, and treatment goals should be focused on the clients perception of needs.

What you can expect from me

First sessions include introductions and explanations of services. Together we will review symptoms and ensure we create a collaborative path to diagnosis and treatment planning that focus on your goals for therapy
