Great to meet you!

I found early in life that I had a natural skill for problem-solving and a desire to help others. My early career led me toward working with children and families involved with DCYF and the juvenile the court system. I provided intensive home based treatment with modalities of CBT, family therapy, and strength based therapy. While pursuing licensure I began to focus on adult and geriatric patients managing acute psychiatric symptoms receiving inpatient treatment. I supported patients and their families to understand symptoms and available treatment and continue to serve in this population as well as providing outpatient psychotherapy to the adult and geriatric population. I am passionate about seeing people grow as they achieve their goals and begin to thrive through life's challenges and transitions.

My approach to therapy

I believe anyone can benefit from therapy. I challenge clients to consider solutions while empowering them to recognize their own strengths. Through this process, people are able to make the changes needed to improve their quality of life while regaining confidence and self-esteem. I primarily support clients with CBT, motivational interviewing, and strengths based therapy. I am a certified trauma therapist and also support clients with learning and reinforcing DBT skills.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I will work to get to know you. Together we will complete a psychosocial assessment to best determine your natural supports, history, safety, and needs. We will work together to develop your goals in treatment.
