Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience working with adults navigating some of life's hardest seasons — infertility, adoption, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and the kind of grief that doesn't have a clear name yet. I'm faith-integrated in my approach, which means I honor the role spirituality plays in your life without ever making it a requirement. My clients describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and refreshingly direct. I don't do one-size-fits-all therapy — every treatment plan starts with your story.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and compassion-focused techniques — but the method always follows the person, not the other way around. I work to understand the full picture of what you're carrying before we start building a plan together. I believe real change happens when you feel genuinely heard, not just assessed. Sessions are collaborative, paced to your comfort, and grounded in evidence-based practice that I've refined over two decades of clinical work.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation — not a clipboard. In our first session, I'll walk you through confidentiality so you know exactly how this works, and then I'll mostly listen. I'll ask what brought you in, what's been going on, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to have a clear goal yet — many people don't. By the end, you'll have a sense of whether we're a good fit, and I'll have a clearer picture of how I can help. Most clients leave that first session feeling lighter just from being heard.
