Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals achieve balance and well-being in their lives. I am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. My work is grounded in the belief that true healing happens when we consider the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and community. I strive to create a thoughtful and supportive space where individuals feel understood and empowered on their path to wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective psychiatric care looks beyond symptoms to understand the broader context of a person’s life. My approach integrates evidence-based psychiatric care with holistic principles that consider physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental influences on mental health.

What you can expect from me

In our first session and ongoing relationship, patients can expect a thoughtful and collaborative conversation where I take the time to understand their experiences, concerns, goals, symptoms, and current medications (if applicable) within the broader context of their life, health, relationships, and overall well-being.

I strive to create a supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate actively in their care.

Together, we will explore treatment options—including alternative and integrative approaches to medication support when appropriate—and develop a personalized plan focused on long-term balance, wellness, and meaningful growth.
