Great to meet you!

My name is Courtney and I have 5+ years specializing in working with adults and teens dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I firmly believe that healthy, genuine relationships are the foundation for healing, and I strive to make everyone feel seen, heard, and know that they matter. My mission is to help you take your power back.

I have a Masters in Counselor Education and a dual licensure in clinical mental health and school counseling, and have spent time in both the private practice and school settings. I believe finding the right therapist is essential to your growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

I use a wholistic, trauma-informed, integrative approach to therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I believe in meeting people where they’re at and build upon your strengths to help meet your goals. I draw most from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.

To shatter shame. To provide a safe, authentic space for you to hope, heal, and grow. And to empower and equip you with integrative skills to lead a more productive and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we review intake paperwork, set goals for what you want to get out of therapy, and begin to build a strong therapeutic alliance. I also strive to equip you with tools to help you navigate your life, outside of sessions, more effectively.
