Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life's hardest seasons.

Over the years, I've learned that healing rarely happens in sterile spaces--it grows in connection, trust, and moments of calm. That's why my practice, Off the Grid Counseling and Animal-Assisted Therapy, takes place in a peaceful farm setting surrounded by animals who help us slow down, breathe, and be true to self.

Each animal on the farm has a gift to offer. The horses teach us about boundaries and trust. The goats remind us how to keep climbing even when things feel steep. The cows model calm, steady presence. The pigs show us how to find joy in being ourselves--mud and all. And the cats? They remind us that rest is an important part of healing too.

There may not be WIFI in the barn, but it is where you will find the BEST connection.

My approach to therapy

I combine traditional talk therapy with the healing power of connection-- to animals, nature, and your own authentic self. As a clinician trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and certified in Animal Assisted Social Work, I integrate trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and gentle experiential work that allows insight, growth and healing to unfold naturally.

You don't need to have experience with animals--just openness to a different type of healing space.

What you can expect from me

Some sessions take place outdoors among the animals; others happen in the barn or therapy space, or virtually depending on your comfort level. Each encounter-- whether we're brushing a horse, observing a curious goat, or sharing a quiet moment with a cat-- becomes an opportunity to explore emotions, strengthen resilience, and rediscover balance.

My goal is to create a place where therapy feels natural-- where you can take a deep breath, connect, laugh, maybe get a little muddy, and experience what it's like to feel grounded again.

Healing here isn't about being 'fixed' -- it's about remembering you're already whole.
