Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Colorado with over eight years of nursing experience across diverse clinical settings, including medical-surgical care, inpatient psychiatry, progressive care units, and correctional healthcare. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Vermont, where my time in New England fostered a lifelong appreciation for winter sports (including snowboarding, which I initially took up in a physical education course). I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, from Chamberlain University. Outside of practice, I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, golfing, and spending time outdoors. I value quiet time with my husband and our two cats and am passionate about animal welfare and rescue efforts, firmly believing that every animal deserves a safe and loving home. I look forward to partnering with patients to make meaningful changes, support growth, and promote long-term mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My clinical philosophy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and patient-centered care. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. I am deeply committed to helping individuals build resilience, overcome challenges, and work toward their personal goals and aspirations.

What you can expect from me

My background as a registered nurse has provided me with a strong foundation in both physical and mental health, allowing me to approach care holistically and thoughtfully. I spent three years as a travel nurse, an experience that broadened my clinical perspective and ultimately led me to Colorado, where I am proud to call home. After growing up in South Florida, I quickly fell in love with the mountains, outdoor lifestyle, and sense of balance Colorado offers.
