My aim is to support people to live a present, engaged and fulfilled life. My clients feel stressed out to the point of feeling collapse; unworthy of love, overwhelmed and unheard. Many have PTSD from abuse /neglect as a child, impacts of generational/cultural/religious patterns, or traumatic events. My clients symptoms show up as anxiety, changes in mood, inability to regulate and/or navigate life. unresolved trauma, fear, depression, anger, grief, physical pain and chronic health issues.

I’ve always had a soft spot for people who are high achievers and yet cannot seem to take in their brilliance. Because I’ve struggled with feeling this way myself at times, I have learned how to work with this belief and the feelings that come up. And although listening is a big part of that, I also found that having some tangible tools to help change behavior and unhook from the negative beliefs are equally important to help you take back control.
I am not accepting EAP's.

My focus is on helping you build a healthy relationship with yourself. This approach helps if you are feeling stuck in patterns that are not working for you, struggling with self criticism, experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, etc. I offer insight-oriented conversations, practices, and tools to help you find more balance and harmony from the inside out.

Sometimes the complexities of contemporary living present problems that get in the way of who we want to be. I can help you understand the obstacles that are undermining your happiness, & trust again in your own intuition to discover the strengths that are already there within you. While we can't change situations of the past, there is potential here for you to better understand how your past experiences and/or current challenges are interfering with your ability to enjoy life fully.

Life is difficult, you don't have to do it alone. Experience since 2004 providing individual and family consultation and therapy for various difficulties of life. When dealing with issues of depression, anxiety, substance use, and/or relationship conflict may make it hard to take the first step in seeking therapy. You haven't come this far not to take the next step.

I am Sarah and I have been practicing therapy for a number of years. I have learned over that time that clients need to feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the changes in their lives that will give them relief. I love to see clients make realizations and create new patterns of thought that create a life that is fulfilling. The shift from just getting through to actually enjoying life is not easy, but so worth it.

I am a dedicated therapist with a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges. My journey into the field of mental health was shaped by my time in the military, where I witnessed firsthand the resilience of the human spirit and the power of support in overcoming adversity. After my service, I pursued my education at Naropa University, where I was drawn to the intersection of mindfulness, psychology, and holistic healing.
Above all, I am committed to fostering meaningful change in the lives of my clients, helping them build resilience, develop coping skills, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

I work with adults, and couples who struggle with the achieving their full potential. This often means working through anxiety and anger and learning how to clearly communicate your own needs and challenges. This personal work leads to understanding of the systems in which we all operate - family, work, school, and community.
