We believe everyone should have access to mental health and addiction treatment. Tragically the most ill are often the most neglected. We believe in harm reduction. We invest in the person and not the disease. We value everyone equally and help each person focus on their journey in recovery. We provide full comprehensive treatment, use of all treatment options using evidence-based practice including MAT and long-acting medications. We provide comprehensive laboratory testing in our clinic.

I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, which I earned in 2014, and obtained my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in 2016. With over 12 years of experience in the field, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations. My areas of specialization include ADHD, trauma, depression, and anxiety, with a primary focus on adult populations. In addition to my clinical expertise, I also have experience working with court-ordered referrals in forensic settings. To inform treatment and identify areas for growth, I frequently utilize psychological assessments.

Welcome! My name is Hannah Koenig.
In 2021, I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Since then, I’ve become both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC). I’ve been providing individual and group therapy for the past five years. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the honor of helping people navigate a wide range of challenges and move toward greater stability, healing, and hope.
I specialize in working with adults facing addiction, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to meet you where you are in your journey and to support you in making meaningful, realistic changes.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy that helps individuals heal from the emotional impact of trauma and distressing life experiences.

My first goal for our process is to get on the same page with you in order to make sure that my goals for you align with your goals for you. This is the only way to ensure that we are moving in the same direction. Once we have aligned, we will connect with your inner self on a level that you likely never have before. Getting in tune with these inner desires provides you with more immediacy to your own feelings and allows you to communicate them more effectively.

Hello my name is Dr. Dave Matheson, PhD, LPC. I am an Licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado.
It sounds like you are interested in creating some change in your life and counseling is a great place to start. Here is how I view counseling and the struggles we are up against.
The problems we struggle with seek to define and marginalize our identities as humans. The power that various problems seek to have in our lives can leave us feeling lost, helpless, and alone. Counseling can be a great place to begin to separate our identities from our struggles, where the problem does not get to define us as humans. My goal is to join you in this process and support the creation of a new identity, where the problem no longer gets to hold the mirror from which our own reflections are seen.
