I am a published researcher and licensed professional counselor with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology.
I am trained in the scientist-practitioner model and strive to ensure my clinical approach to therapy is informed by up-to-date and cutting edge research. I strive to create a safe and judgement-free therapeutic relationship where we can collaborate to accomplish your goals.
Are you feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? Maybe anxiety or OCD is keeping you from living your life in the way that you would most enjoy. Or perhaps you are challenged by losses or life transitions which are difficult to face alone. Having a safe place to express your thoughts and feelings can make a difference.
I became a therapist after seeing the benefits of counseling and art therapy on both personal and professional levels. I’m a licensed professional counselor since 2011 and a board certified art therapist since 2022. I hold a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Art Therapy. In addition to my degree, also have significant training in a variety of evidence based treatments, including ERP, CPT, Motivational Interviewing, CAMS and ACT.
My experiences with hospice patients and caregivers, seniors, people in addiction recovery, people in crisis, people struggling with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, cultural and social justice concerns, have inspired me to offer therapy in private practice. In my spare time, I love to cook, sing, hike, and make art.
My degree is in Transpersonal therapy which means considering the individual and the larger world around that person. Together, my clients and I bring attention to and create plans for how they want to create the change they're hoping for in their lives.
There is no greater gift than being able to fulfill our true potential. We grow by connecting deeply with ourselves, our community, and the larger world. I am dedicated to helping people grow and feel empowered to create a life that shines with vitality, meaning and connectedness. We are all a part of something bigger and there is nothing better than awakening to this fact!
Many of the men I work with feel cut off from their emotions, weighed down by anxiety, and uncertain about how to manage stress at work or at home. Together, we uncover what’s getting in the way, rebuild connection to self, and cultivate the tools needed for healthier relationships and a more balanced, rewarding life.
My approach to therapy is guided by something my Grandpa Ted Ross said:
"When you are with something and try to understand it, you learn to love it."
I aspire to provide a compassionate and intuitive presence (with 16+ years of experience) to support your journey to contact, connect with, and express your Core Self while understanding + learning to love the obstacles and challenges that come with being human.
Hi there, I’m Brianna. I’m deeply passionate about working with trauma as well as the sacred intersectionality of holding multiple identities. I’m a true believer in our innate capacity to heal and find a soul-ful, fulfilling life. I view my role as a therapist as a facilitator to help guide you to deeper places inside yourself that might be dormant or lacking liveliness. I have experience working with women, multicultural identity, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Finding the right therapist in Boulder starts with getting clear on what you're looking for. Think about the concerns you want to address — whether that's anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, a life transition, or something else — and whether you prefer virtual sessions, in-person visits, or both. Boulder has a large community of licensed providers, including LPCs, LCSWs, psychologists, and psychiatrists, many of whom specialize in approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Once you have a sense of your preferences, reviewing a provider's bio can help you understand their style, areas of focus, and what a session with them might look like. A strong fit between you and your provider is one of the most important factors in making therapy feel worthwhile. Many providers offer a free phone consultation so you can get a sense of that fit before committing.
Therapy in Boulder can be expensive out of pocket, but using in-network insurance coverage is one of the most reliable ways to lower your costs. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs before you book. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Confirming your coverage upfront takes the guesswork out of what you'll owe.
